Welcome to the CRLab
This page is a brief introduction to the lab and its operation. It is a good starting point for new members and visitors to the physical lab space.
Using the Lab Space
The lab space is a shared space that is used by all members of the lab. It is important to keep the lab space clean and tidy, and to respect the work of other lab members. When using the lab space.
The computer workstations in the lab are shared resources. Please be mindful of other lab members when using the workstations, and do not leave personal items on the workstations.
Induction and Training
All lab members are required to complete an induction and training program before using the lab space and equipment.
If you have not completed the induction and training program, please consult with the lab manager or the lab director.
Modifying the Lab Space
If you need to change the lab space in any way, please consult with the lab manager or the lab director. This includes moving furniture, installing new equipment, or making any other changes to the lab space.
Accessing and Using the Network
The CRLab provides a local network that is only accessible to members of the lab.
It is recommended that the network be used for lab-related work
The network can be accessed from the lab workstations, and from personal devices. To access the network from a personal device, you will need to connect to the wifi network, and enter credentials when prompted.
The Network is accessible throughout the physical lab for lab equipment and robots:
