Carlos Kuhn is a distinguished physicist and researcher with a profound expertise in Generative AI and Cognitive AI. He holds a Bachelor’s in Physics, a Master’s in Physics, and a PhD in Theoretical Quantum Physics from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil. His doctoral research on the Exactly Solvable Model for Hetero-Triatomic Molecular Bose-Einstein Condensate highlighted his exceptional skills in complex mathematical modelling.

Dr. Kuhn’s postdoctoral work at the Australian National University (ANU) and Swinburne University of Technology (SUT) involved groundbreaking experiments with ultracold atoms, significantly advancing the fields of topological phases and superfluidity. His contributions within the ARC Centre of Excellence in Future Low Energy Electronics Technologies (FLEET) demonstrated his ability to collaborate across disciplines to address intricate scientific challenges.

In 2020, Dr. Kuhn transitioned to data science, applying his analytical expertise at the Department of Defence, Science, and Technology (DSTG). There, he developed advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques to solve real-world problems. As Principal Scientist at 12thLevel Pty Ltd, he led a team in pioneering research and development initiatives.

Currently, as the Research Chair in Open Source Technology at the University of Canberra, Dr. Kuhn is at the forefront of advancing Generative AI and Cognitive AI. His work bridges the gap between theoretical research and practical applications, fostering industry partnerships to tackle computational and AI-related challenges. Dr. Kuhn’s leadership and innovative research continue to drive progress in the field, making significant contributions to both academia and industry.
